Three Tips For Dealing With an Alcoholic Husband

My step father had a drinking problem and eventually died from liver failure. Mom used to say that even though he was an alcoholic, he was a good husband. He provided for the family and was always kind to us all. There were a few things that I had difficulty dealing with though as I got older. Dad was never close to me. He didn't take me alongside of him and do father and son things with me. As I look back on the marriage that mom had with him, she never spent much time with him either. He was always hanging out at the club with his friends.
