Why You Should Feel Your Feelings

Nobody likes experiencing negative emotions. And yet most of them conversely indulge them. Common pet negative emotions include resentment, jealousy, and arrogance, yet none of these emotions when examined are any fun at all. Perhaps people are addicted to the relief, which is a sort of fix. Common phrases that would indicate negative emotions looking for an award include "I'll show her," and "they can't get away this." The need for self-justification is a dead ringer for an unhealthy emotion cycle.
