Is the Advice From Intuition or Ego?

Over the past year, I've developed the habit of always going within first for the answer, so when I feel stuck or need advice on what course of action to take, I start asking questions to myself until I get the answer that I need. However, one of the skills I'm still learning to develop is discerning whether the information is coming from my egoic mind, or if it's coming from Higher Guidance through intuition.
