There is a time for strategic thinking and a time for creative thinking. Likewise there is a time for creative problem solving, and a time to use logic in the decision-making process. Generally, things work best when you use the creative problem solving strategies first by throwing out all sorts of ideas, and then considering the implications of each one of the potential solutions.
