Anger is both a psychological and physiological process and can have a negative impact on your emotional and physical health because of its relationship to heart disease. In fact, studies have revealed that those who have poor anger management skills are more likely to develop heart disease than the known risks of problems such as being overweight, high cholesterol, cigarette smoking and excessive alcohol intake because anger reduces the heart's ability to pump blood properly. With chronic anger you may well experience kidney problems, indigestion, peptic ulcer, frequent colds or even obesity.
